Beat this odd: 1 in 183

That’s the odd of winning the Michael Jackson’s memorial service ticket. More than 1.6 million fans put down their name in a random drawing of only 8750 names. Each person will receive two tickets for tomorrow memorial.

"I'm in shock that it has happened," said Deka Motanya, 27, of San Francisco. "It's surreal." She received an e-mail message notifying her, "Congratulations, your application was successful."

It's like winning a Wolly Wonka golden ticket. But instead of chocolate, you get to 'memorialize' Mr. Jackson.

God blesses.

Death at the happiest places.

5th of July.

Two monorails crashed early morning at the Magic Kingdom section of Disney World, killing one train operator. It's the first accident in 38 years. It's so weird how the operator of a kiddy park can die a tragic death. The cause of the crash is stil unclear.

Also...

Five people working on Independence Day fireworks shows were killed by explosions, four of them by a single blast that rocked the remote village on the Outer Banks of Ocracoke. The fifth died after an explosion at a fireworks show in Pennsylvania.

In another holiday accident, a pedestrian bridge collapsed in Indiana as fans were leaving a fireworks show, injuring 25 people. It turned out the crowd had overloaded the bridge.

Pity.
