History was made....Again!

5th of November, Barack Obama became the President of the USA. History was made. Yep, we've heard of that...

But today, history was made again during the first ever annual YouTube LIVE!!
It has revolutionized the way the internet is used.

And the best part was -- I was there...

Well, not really but I was a part of it. You see, the whole show was streamed LIVE all over the world and I caught it. I woke up real early, around 10:00am just to see it.

It's like the only concert where I watch while eating breakfast. I mean, like, whaaaaat???!!

Anyway, the show rocked, with a lot of performances by popular artists and celebs (Mythbusters...really?) and YouTube's famous people (a.k.a. those 11-million-hits-on-one-video video uploader). But my fave part has got to be the opening: Katy Perry performing "Hot 'N Cold" live. She's so cute!

Hope to catch it again next year.
Revolution!

Simple...

This is the end.
The exams are over.
The holiday's here (um, no, I'm not rhyming here).
I got two articles published; one in NST, another one in the school's Yearbook (okay, next year's).
I bought the coolest Giordano shirt.
I watched Quantum of Solace before everyone else (although the movie did sucked).
I ended the school year with a lot of people liking me than at the start of the year.
I'm single again.
I gave a lot of people gifts.
My best friend is getting married.
My English teacher thought that I am such a poet.
America got a new president.
I got a lot of time for myself.
My sis will be going to University.
And I'm going overseas again this holiday.
I already chose a college that I want to go to.

I thought it could be so simple.
I mean, life should be that simple.

The situation, the possibilities; they're waiting.

But now it felt like I made a mess.
It is as simple as it seems.
But if it is as simple as I thought it'd be...
Why am I not happy?
(again, not rhyming here)

The Future is Obama!

The whole world chant his name. They go, "Obama! Obama! Obama!"
And then there was total silence.
....

That was the part when a kid went up and shouted, "People, once more, with feeling!"
And it started all over again. "Obama! Obama! Obama!..."

Barrack Obama victory comes in its own terms. It was strategic. It is symbolic.

History was made today, in the form of a man. A man with a dream. A dream to change the world.

Now imagine, the clean air, the wind mill, the green cars, citizen groups, the ending of a war, the earth healed...Imagine what our life would be like. Imagine being an American today. Because everyone wants to be an American today. Everyone wants to feel that elated feeling of knowing that your country, that was hated by the world, is now in for a change. Everyone wants a bite of that freedom feeling.

Because everyone knows that future that this man talked about...the changes that he kept on ranting about...the difference he'll make...IS coming!

"Even as we celebrate tonight we know that the challenges tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime: two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century,” Obama told a crowd of more than 100,000 in Chicago’s Grant Park.

We are all behind you.
Change we need.
Change we believe in.

My cautious race in this very long tale

"The first question is how to get dry again."

I know I stated in my Friendster blog that I won't be doing any more blogs; that I was anti-blog. But, heck, I can't help it. I love blogging (yeah, I keep doing it on MySpace), and I love to read blogs. Here you go: A new one by me (but my Friendster blog will remain dead). Because not speaking my mind is like being drown. So this is me getting dry again.

Anyway, this is my first time blogging on Blogger, so be nice!
(actually, I've been in this hole for a while; I only started posting now)

It's the greatest thing that's yet to have happened to you. I mean, imagine knowing me! Reading about my life will be the greatest thing you'd ever imagine. But you'll never know if you don't follow.

Slow; that's the word for it.
I'll take it slow. I'll leave all the walking to the world.

I won't do anything hasty. This is my cautious race in this very long tale...
